Royal Enfield has recently introduced us with two new 650 twin cylinder motorcycle. The company will launched this two bike globally very soon Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650. Both the bikes are recently launched in EICMA Motor show, Milan. In terms of looks and design Royal enfield did a lots of changes to this two new bikes. Interceptor INT which totally a new producation from Royal Enfiled. From a recent sources we get to know that both the bikes are designed and developed under the UK-based motorcycle specialist team. Both the motorcycles are powered by the first modern Royal Enfield 650 twin cylinder engine.
Not only two bikes helped in the oldest manufacture in the world place it self higher in the motor cycle food chain and competes with the likes of Triumph and Harley davidson in the premium segment better. It would also inspired other India bike makers like Bajaj, Hero Motocrop and TVS to pull up their shocks and offer the Indian bikes enthusiast some thing more premium and performance oriented. However both the bikes are featuring with six speed gearbox and coming with slip/assist clutch, which is basically developed for city and tour ride.
Both the bikes are coming with same engine the only difference we can in the design and looks. The new Interceptor INT 650 is based upon the Old Royal Enfield interceptor which was the first motorcycle of Royal Enfield. Let’s have a look in the features and Specifications of both the motorcycle.

Both the bikes are featuring with the same engine but comes with unique design and body construction. You can use both the bikes for on road and off roading purpose. The six speed gear box will definitely help you in touring. Experts says that it can catch up to 80 KM/H with in time limit of 8 seconds. However the engine size is little bit bigger than the Royal Enfield classic 500. As we have said before that both the bikes are comfortable for city riding and touring, so if you are looking for a heavy bike with both the features then Royal Enfield 650 twin will be my first choice.
Its a new and first 650 cc twin engine from Royal Enfield. Which is powered by a single cylinder, twin-spark 650 cc engine with electronic fuel injection system that produce up to 72 bhp of power at 7100 rpm. The bike is pretty quick and fast and easily reach up to 120 kmph.
The six speed gearbox is smooth shifting with the features of 1-down and 5-up shift. The gear paddle is nicely setup and you can feel no trouble in shifting gears. The most interesting thing is that you just don’t realize the speeds of your bike until you look at the speedo meter.
